We are very much aware of the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, and we would like you to know that we here at Sunrise Cleaning are committed to serving our clients and helping fighting this outbreak. We are taking every action possible to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus. We have made certain to let our ladies know that it is their duty to slow the spread of the virus and to be extra diligent in assessing their own health.
As precautions, we do not allow anyone with any symptoms of illness to work, and we do not have anyone on staff that has traveled in the last 14 days. We also disinfect all our mops, vacuums, poles and cleaning rags after each appointment, and have begun to add extra time to each appointment to disinfect all high touch areas such as knobs, light switches, handrails and countertops at no extra cost to clients. All staff are instructed to thoroughly wash hands before and after each appointment and to use fresh sets of disposable gloves for each appointment.
At the moment we also have a limited amount of masks available for the cleaning ladies; if you would feel more comfortable having our ladies wearing masks during your cleanings, please contact us, as we are more than happy to do so. Our goal is to keep everyone, staff or customers, safe during this time.
We humbly ask that clients do not schedule cleaning appointments if anyone in their home has had any recent symptoms of the flu, cold or unidentified respiratory illnesses,have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, or have any concerns about the outbreak. This is both for the safety of you, the client, as well as our cleaning staff.
If you feel that you are healthy and do decide to book a cleaning, please practice the recommended social distancing by not staying in the same room as the cleaning staff for long periods of time. Generally our staff starts cleaning on the top floor and then work their way down, however, we can alter our cleaning routine to best suit your current situation. If you would like us to change the way your home is cleaned, please let us know when booking.
But we are not only concerned about cleaning. We recognize that this has been an extremely difficult time for everyone, and we want to assure you that we are here for you.
If you need someone to talk to, or even to get you groceries or other essentials, do not hesitate to call us.
One of the best ways to fight the Coronavirus is to stay home and remain calm, and if we can help you do either of these things, then we would be more than happy.
